In December 2006, Yvonne Poulin returns to Zanzibar and the Jambiani Wellness clinic of the Hands Across Borders Society. This is the birthplace of her humanitarian vision to educate and empower disadvantaged individuals by providing vocational training in therapeutic massage.
Stonetown spa owner Stefanie has contracted the African Touch to provide an intensive course for massage therapists to employ in her spa. Stefanie has been assisted by UWZ, an association working with the disabled in Zanzibar to select a visually impaired woman to join the training.
