We have so much to be thankful for :)
Another month has come and gone.... We cannot believe that the students will be graduating in 1.5 months! They continue to progress in leaps and bounds, and know how to treat a variety of conditions. During the outreach portion of the program they have put this new found skills to the test with some great results for their clients!
A 9 year old with functional scoliosis now has a straight spine. A 35 year old woman who had severe back pain and was not able to work has been able to return to her job. And we had a phone call from an 11 year old yesterday, thanking us for the work the students did on his leg and ankle after a football (soccer) injury. It has been very interesting to see who comes to the treatment sessions, some injuries are too acute, but most clients are in great need of some rehabilitative therapy. The students have also started going to some hotels during outreach, to further broaden their breadth of knowledge and make connections. Job prospects continue to look good and resume writing will be covered next week in the business portion of professional development.
Personally, we continue to be happy, healthy and busy trying to juggle demands. Running a school is a lot of work, but the appreciation shown by the students and those receiving free treatment makes it all worthwhile. We extend this appreciation to you as well, as our work would not be possible without your support!
For those interested in our canine companion, the rescued puppy we kept is growing into a beautiful dog and we have had many offers of people who would like to take her if we decide not to bring her back to Canada. If will be a difficult decision...
Until next time
Love and blessings to you all,
The Chambers family
