Come join the Party!!

We are holding a celebration to support the opening of a school of massage therapy in Ggaba located just outside Kampala, the capital of Uganda.

We have organized an extravaganza of festivities to dazzle the senses and entertain the mind.
When - Thursday, June 10 from 7:00 to 9:30 pm
What - Wine and appetizers
- Performers, including Ballet Kelowna's Tiffany Bilodeau, a belly dancing performance put on by the Loose Hip Sistas and more.
- Live music
- A richly varied silent auction with over thirty items including a trip to Tofino, organic produce, Far West Jackets, Bags from Artix, health and beauty services and much more.
Where - The Alternator Center in the Rotary Center for the Arts.

Cost - ticket are $25 (a glass of wine and appetizers included, as well as the festivities!). All proceeds will be going directly to African Touch.

Canadian charity

Exciting News!!!
We proudly announce that ‘African Touch' has been recently registered as a Canadian charity! This means we are now able to issue charitable tax receipts to our generous donors!

Please be sure to include your address when making donations and a tax receipt will be mailed directly to your home. Donations can be made online or mailed to The African Touch Education Fund Society, 2125 Shamrock Dr., West Kelowna, BC V4T 1T9.

 

Teaching curriculum approved

We are happy to announce that the teaching curriculum created for the school in Uganda has been approved by the Association of Massage Therapist and Holistic Practitioners, allowing students to receive a recognized certificate for their training.
